Pinned Bangs

Maybe this is a personal gripe, but it is a gripe nonetheless: I'm not a fan of pinning/clamping your bangs back on top of your head.

No no, no no no, no no no no.
I see this all the time, popular among the 'weekend warriors' crowd, the same girls who insist on wearing heels with boot-cut jeans. When I see this, three things come to mind: 1- gosh you have a big forehead. 2- somebody forgot to take the pins out after a haircut. 3- maybe you're prepping the scalp for a frontal lobotomy. I'm not saying that you can never tie your hair back; bangs can be pinned to the side, and long hair can be pulled into a ponytail. But it's the style of 'long hair all around but nothing in the front' that is hard to look at. Let's see, who was the movie star who had that hairstyle in a movie once? Oh yeah, John Travolta in "Battlefield Earth". And that movie sucked.

So ladies, it's your choice; you can look like an alien, or you can embrace your lovely bangs.

Be slick like Slick.
